Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh is constantly seen getting into trouble. Or simply say that they are getting trapped in his woven web now. Actually, departmental inquiry was going on against him in Antilia case now that the allegations made against him by Police Inspector Anup Dange will also be investigated. Director General of Police (DGP) Sanjay Pandey has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigation by the government. Police Inspector Anup Dange alleged against Paramveer that he suspended him after he became the Commissioner of Police. According to the letter, Paramveer Singh has a relationship with Jeetu Navlani, who belongs to the underworld. According to Dange, on the night of 22 and 23 November 2014, he went to the Akruti building in Breach Candy, Mumbai to see if all the restaurants and bars had closed in due time. At the same time, he found a person who called his name Jeetu Navlani and said that he owned a pub called ‘Dirty Bans Sobo’. He pressured Anup not to close his bar. Jeetu spoke of his identity with several police IPS officers and said that he had good relations with Paramveer Singh, the DG of the Anti Corruption Bureau. But even after this, Anup asked Jeetu to immediately close the bar. Both of them heard and Jeetu said that tonight, you show power, tomorrow morning, see what happens to you. On February 29, 2020, when Paramveer Singh became Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Anup Dange was transferred to South Control Room on July 7, 2020. After this, Anup was suspended from duty on 14 July. On 25 August, Anup received a call and the one in front claimed to be Paramvir Singh’s brother. He said that if he has to return to duty, then 2 crore rupees will have to be paid. According to Dange, Jeetu Navalani has senior IPS officers and underworld links. However, Mumbai Police
Commissioner Hemant Nagrale submitted a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Antilia case stating that Sachin Vaje was reporting directly to Paramveer Singh. Now DGP Sanjay Pandey is investigating both these cases.
