A large quantity of cannabis has been seized from the Sakinaka area of Mumbai. According to sources, Assistant Police Inspector Padvi of Sakinaka police station got a secret information that a large quantity of cannabis has been brought in Sakinaka. Based on the information, the police, under the guidance of its senior officers, A raid was conducted at Sanghars Nagar Chandivali Building No. H10 in Sakinaka area from where a large quantity of cannabis was recovered.
Police said a total of 345 kg of 525 grams of cannabis has been seized, costing around Rs 51,82,875. An accused has been arrested an identified as named Ashok Manik Maitre (39). Through the information and CCTV footage installed in the building, the police seized the cannabis while solving the case.
The Sakinaka police have registered a case under CC No. 07/2021, Under Section 9 (a), 20 (b) (ii) (a). The said action was done under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police IPS Dr. Maheshwar Reddy of Zone 10 under the leadership of Assistant Police Commissioner Nagre, Senior Police Inspector Balwant Deshmukh, Police Inspectors Budhan Sawant, Assistant Police Inspector Padvi & Other Staff Of Sakinaka Police Station
