Tollywood South Indian films actress Shweta Kumari arrested in drugs case was sent to judicial custody by the court on Thursday. Shweta’s bail plea will be heard on Friday. Actress Shweta Kumari was presented in the magistrate’s court after the end of NCB custody today. From where she was sent to 14 days judicial custody.
Shweta Kumari, who has worked in Kannada and Telugu films, was arrested by the NCB on Monday after seizing 400 grams of banned drugs from a hotel in Mira Bhayander in Thane district.
According to the NCB seized 400 grams of MD on January 2 as part of a campaign against the supply of narcotics in Goa and Maharashtra. After which the actress was arrested from Mira Bhayander’s hotel. Shweta Kumari has filed a bail petition, which will be heard on Friday.
Earlier, NCB arrested actress Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shouvik and suspected drug peddlers. However, Riya Chakraborty and her brother are out on bail at this time.
