NEW DELHI: Invoking Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde extended support to PM-designate Modi saying the alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena of Balasaheb Thackeray’s ideal is “Fevicol ka Jod” which is unbreakable. NCP chief Ajit Pawar also extended support.
“I can only say that BJP and Shiv Sena have similar ideology. Our alliance was forged under the leadership of Balasaheb Thackeray.This is an alliance of ‘Fevicol ka jod’ and this will never break. Our PM has put huge efforts in every Lok Sabha election and has held meetings. The country has seen his magic and for the third time he is going to take charge as PM,” Shinde said.
The Maharashtra CM also said that while people have rejected the “fake narratives” of the opposition, the development plank of Modi has won.
NCP chief Ajit Pawar also supported the proposal to name PM-designate Modi as the leader of NDA parliamentary party. Apna Dal president Anupriya Patel said NDA family is strongly with him and under his leadership the new govt will set records in the country.
