Mahim Dargah Trustee Suhail Khandwani Speaking To Media After Mahim Dargah Entry Shut Down Scare Of Corona Virus

Taking into consideration the present scenario w.r.t. the pandemic of COVID-19 The Trustees of Mahim Dargah, and Trustee, Haji Ali Dargah, Has taken a decision to restrict entry at the dargah premises so as to support the various government initiatives to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.
Mr. Suhail Khandwani said that he has been accessing the situation for the past four days, and he has been interacting with the various statutory authorities and it seems that we need to take care of Mumbai city in terms of our corporation as our social responsibility towards mankind. This coronavirus that has been detected in Mumbai has infected about seven patients but we don’t know who is the carrier of this because there are no immediate symptoms to it.
As mahim dargah and hajiali dargah are platform of humanity and service to mankind Both will be closed for sanitization. Entry will be restricted till further notice. All rituals will be performed as usual by our religious scholars and management
It goes for Mahim dargah and Haji Ali Dargah both because we feel that life of any human is of paramount importance he futher said that he would like you all to consider and cooperate the dargah authorities to fight this pandemic together.
