NTPC Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has appointed Pushpendra Tyagi as its Chief Financial Officer.
Tyagi takes over from Neeraj Sharma, the former CFO of NTPC Renewable Energy.
With over 34 years of experience at NTPC, Tyagi brings expertise in financial management and auditing.
Throughout his tenure, he has held roles across various divisions, including Gas, Thermal, and Hydro projects, as well as the Corporate Centre.
His responsibilities have spanned budgeting, fundraising, account finalisation, and financial vetting. Additionally, Tyagi previously served as the Head of Internal Audit at NTPC.
Tyagi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
