CHENNAI: Flight operations at Chennai airport will remain suspended till 4am on Sunday as heavy winds are forecast in the wake of Cyclone Fengal.
The airport was earlier closed from noon to 7pm on Saturday as airlines cited difficulties in landing and taking off due to heavy crosswinds.
The crosswinds persisted from a height of 300metre to 1000metre from the runway due to which pilots could not land at the airport.
