NEW DELHI: A 52-year-old businessman was shot dead by two unidentified assailants during his morning walk in Delhi’s Shahdara, police said on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Sunil Jain, a resident of Krishna Nagar.
Police received a PCR call reporting a shooting incident in Farsh Bazar. A team from the local police station was immediately dispatched to the scene.
“He was returning home after a morning walk at the Yamuna Sports Complex. He was reportedly shot by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle. A crime team has been called to the scene and further investigation is underway,” police said.
