Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani paid their last respects to Ratan Tata in Mumbai today. Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away due to age-related ailments on Wednesday night.
The corporate community was struck with grief with the demise of Ratan Tata, a giant in India’s business landscape. Tata had served as the chairman of the Tata Group and played a pivotal role in leading the conglomerate to unparalleled achievements.

Mukesh Ambani, the wealthiest individual in India, along with his wife Nita, son Aakash, and daughter-in-law Shloka, paid their respects to Ratan Tata at the NCPA on Thursday afternoon. The family came to offer their homage where the mortal remains were kept for public viewing.
Upon arrival, Noel Tata, Ratan Tata’s half-brother, received the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries. Ambani also met with N Chandrasekaran, the Chairman of Tata Sons.
The Ambani family laid floral tributes on the mortal remains of Ratan Tata as a sign of their respect and admiration. Subsequently, Ambani was observed engaging in a conversation with Piyush Goyal, the Union Commerce Minister, at the NCPA.

Ambani had also visited the Breach Candy Hospital immediately following the passing of Ratan Tata late last night.
Last night, Condolences flooded in from all corners of the nation, with Mukesh Ambani hailing Tata as “one of India’s most illustrious and kind-hearted sons.”
“Ratan Tata was a visionary industrialist and a philanthropist, who always strove for society’s greater good. With the demise of Mr Ratan Tata, India has lost one of her most illustrious and kind-hearted sons. Mr Tata took India to the world and brought the best of the world to Bharat. He institutionalised the House of Tata and made it an international enterprise growing the Tata group over 70 times since the time he took over as Chairman in 1991,” Mukesh Ambani wrote.
