WWE star, Finn Balor has been getting a lot of heat from the fans ever since he assaulted Gunther on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther had just defeated Dominik Mysterio when Balor sneaked up from behind and attacked him.
Balor laid Gunther out and hit him with two consecutive splashes before leaving the ring. A few hours after RAW went off air, he took to X and posted pictures of him attacking Gunther saying, “I am in a great mood today.”
Fans were quick to come after Balor following this post with one saying, “No. You are a OVERRATED JOBBER.” Another fan wrote, “Hate to break it to you, but that probably won’t last long.” One fan was quick to remind Balor that Damian Priest would be back soon and wrote, “Laugh now, Priest will come back for more.”
Another fan wrote, “You won’t be feeling good on Saturday, December 14th.” December 14, 2024, is when Balor is supposed to take on Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. The two will be duking it out during WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event.
Finn Balor vs Gunther: Who Will Come Out on Top at Saturday Night’s Main Event?
Finn Balor finally has a real shot at winning the World Heavyweight Championship but defeating Gunther will not be an easy task. The Ring General is one of the most dominant wrestlers and will obliterate Balor if given the chance. However, Finn is as cunning as they come and probably has a plan up his sleeve.
Be that as it may, we have to take into account that Balor has ruined two championship matches for Damian Priest. The first one was at SummerSlam 2024 and the latest one came during Survivor Series 2024. So, it wouldn’t be wrong for Priests’ fans to expect an interference from him when Balor takes on Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
