Sion Koliwada Firing: A firing incident has taken place in Sion Koliwada area of Mumbai and one person has been injured. In this case, the police have registered a case against the unknown and started searching for the accused. Sources have given preliminary information that the accused and the victim started fighting over money, after which the accused took this step. Sources said that the victim’s name is Akshay Kadam alias Swami and his age is approximately 34 years. Akshay is currently undergoing treatment at Sion Hospital.
Around 5 am on Saturday, the accused came in a taxi with some of his friends and woke up the victim by knocking on the door. As soon as the victim opened the door, the accused opened fire on him.
In this regard, the Antop Hill Police has registered a case against the accused under Section 307 of the IPC and related sections of the Arms Act and the search for the accused is on. At the same timeMumbaiCrime Branch officials have also formed a separate team and started searching for the accused.
