A convict in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case was brutally attacked in Kolhapur’s Kalamba Central Jail. Police said he was attacked by five inmates on Sunday. He died in the attack. Police said prima facie, there was an argument between the inmates over bathing in the bathroom. Due to this, other inmates attacked Munna alias Mohammed Ali Khan alias Manoj Kumar Bhavarlal Gupta. The attackers have been identified as Pratik alias Pilya Suresh Patil, Deepak Netaji Khot, Sandeep Shankar Chavan, Rituraj Vinayak Inamdar and Saurabh Vikas. Police have registered a case of murder against the five accused. Police said that the accused will be arrested soon. Let us tell you, on March 12, 1993, 257 people were killed in several attacks in a single day. More than 1,000 people were injured.
