Baidu, a chinese search engine, on Tuesday announced that CFO Rong Luo is stepping down to lead its mobile ecosystem division, with Junjie He, the current head of the unit, taking over as interim CFO, effective immediately.
The mobile ecosystem division manages key mobile apps like Baidu App, Haokan, and Baidu Post, as reported by Reuters.
Junjie He, who has been with Baidu since 2019, has handled mergers, acquisitions, investments, and financial planning, and has led the mobile apps division since May 2022.
He brings prior experience from investment firms like CICC, Warburg Pincus, and CITIC Private Equity.
Luo joined the Baidu in 2021, holds bachelor’s degrees in both information management & systems and economics from Peking University, a master’s degree in management science and engineering from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. degree in management science from Peking University.
