BENGALURU: Union home minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday BJP-led NDA stands distinct from the opposition’s INDIA bloc, which he labelled an alliance of “parivarwadis (dynasts)” and “brashtacharis (corrupt individuals)”.
“PM Modi has consistently dedicated himself to serving Bharat, never taking a single day off, while Rahul baba tends to travel abroad when summer approaches,” Shah told a meeting of party workers.”Every six months, Congress struggles to locate him.”
“On one hand there are blasts in Bengaluru, on the other hand I just got the news that SDPI has supported Congress. If this is true then can the people of Karnataka remain safe under the Congress govt,” ANI reported Shah as saying on X.
Shah also attacked the INDIA bloc. “While the opposition has failed to level even the slightest graft allegation against Modi, who has served for 23 years as chief minister and prime minister, on the other hand there exists this ghamandiya (arrogant) coalition of corruption,” Shah said.
Exuding confidence that the BJP-JD(S) alliance would win all 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka, Shah emphasised PM Modi’s ambitious target of “400-paar” for all BJP workers and pointed to the progress made in previous elections.
