Pune: NCP (SP) will contact voters in all 288 assembly seats to demonstrate how EVMs can be tampered with, said Prashant Jagtap, the party’s Pune city chief, on Sunday. With the help of legal experts, the party also plans to file nearly 150 petitions in HC against EVMs to declare assembly poll results void, he said at a seminar on EVMs organised by NCP (SP).
Party chief Sharad Pawar, state unit chief Jayant Patil and MP Supriya didn’t attend the event. Jagtap said they had to skip due to health reasons and other commitments.
